Wilma May Phillips
5/6/1927 ~ 1/17/2012

Wilma May Phillips, 84, passed away January 17, 2012 at E. Dene Moore Care Center in Rifle.

Wilma was born to Emmett A. and Lula E. (Skinner) Main on May 6, 1927 in Garden City, Kansas. At an early age, Wilma's family moved from Kansas to Grand Valley, Colorado where Wilma had very pleasant memories of growing up. She graduated from Union High School in Rifle, Colorado.  Wilma had a big heart and was devoted to her family.  As an adult, she remained living in the Western Slope area and was happy to do so.  She loved the great outdoors, fishing, camping, hunting, snowmobiling, etc.  She was an avid gardener, with beautiful flower gardens wherever she lived.

Wilma was fortunate in life to have had three husbands who were the loves of her life.  James (Jim) Louthan, Loyal (Hap) Rainbolt, and Francis Phillips; all three preceded her in death, along with her parents; sister Doris Dell; brother Robert Main, and niece Brenda.
