Addison Wayne Gay, 83, passed away February 18, 2013 at Mesa Vista Assisted Living in Battlement Mesa.

Addison was born March 5, 1929, in Flint, MI to Addison & Thelma (Hect) Gay. He married Edith Mae Stadsklev on August 5, 1950, in Flint, MI. Addison was a Pastor, Teacher, School Administrator, and an avid hunter in the Flattops wilderness area. He graduated from Nyack College and Butler University. He was a charter member of the Aurora Alliance Church.

Addison was the beloved husband of Edith Mae; treasured father to daughters Ellen Thompson of Elizabeth, CO, and Norene (Jon) Wilson of Rifle, CO.; wonderful "Grampa" to 6 grandchildren, and 10 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife Edith Mae.

A memorial service will be held at Grace Bible Church, on February 23, 2013 at 1:00 pm in Battlement Mesa. Pastor Jedediah Johnston will officiate. Addison will be buried with his wife in the family plot in Elizabeth, CO.
