Teresa Lynn Horton (30) passed away peacefully at home with her family by her side. Teresa was born to Charles and Vicki Todd on February 19, 1983 in Rifle, Colorado. She married Caleb Horton, her long - time friend and love on August 11, 2006 in Rifle, Colorado. They had one child, Brennan William Horton, who is her look alike angel. She served in the U.S. Military and was also an Oral Surgeon Technician. Teresa was a vibrant, loving wife, mother, daughter and sister. She loved life and lived it to the fullest, even as she fought her illness. Teresa was always a fighter and proved this in her determination to try to stay in the Military, even after she was injured and her determination to be here for her husband and son as long as she could. She was loved by all who knew her for her smile, kindness and friendship. Teresa was a lover of romance and fairy tales and always felt her dreams had come true. She thought about only her family, especially her husband and son, even in her last moments. Teresa will always be truly missed and remembered.
She is survived by her husband; Caleb Horton, Son; Brennan Horton, Brother; Steven (Carmen) A. Llacuna, Sister; Kristine M. Llacuna, Nephews; Caton and Miles Llacuna, Connor and Aaron Enlow, Aunt Donna (Bret) Peterson, Aunt Karen (Casey) Peter, Uncle John M. Todd, Uncle Denny Bates, many cousins and friends that she considered family.

Services for Teresa will be held Saturday, January 11, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Rifle Funeral Home in Rifle Colorado.
After the service, there will be a get together at the home of Casey and Karen Peter, 825 Summit Street in Rifle. Please bring some finger food and memories to share.
