Kevin L. Aggas, 42, of Rifle passed away unexpectedly at his home on December 5, 2011.
 
"I saw somebody smile today
Whey can't they all be sad?
At least for a little while
Until I stop missing my Dad?
 
I heard a radio
It was playing a happy song.
My daddy died yesterday
Don't they know being happy is wrong?
 
I saw some kids playing
And laughing on their front lawn.
Why won't they stop?
Can't they see my daddy is gone?
 
The grass is green and the sky is still blue,
It only makes me mad.
The colors should all be grey
In a world without my dad.
 
Someone please tell me
Why the sky isn't black?
Why is the sun still shining,
When my daddy's never coming back"
 
He leaves behind his wife Brigitte; his son Austinn; and his daughters Katelynn, Ashlynn & Kaydenn.
 
In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to the Aggas Memorial Fund at any Wells Fargo Bank.
 
Cremation has taken place and no services are planned at this time.
