Condolences

Condolence From: Wendy Wrenn
Condolence: Alice was such a special lady. I would spend time at their house when Jeanne and Arby (my cousins) were living with her. She scared me when I was young (of course she was trying to keep us kids out of trouble. When I got older, I respected her strength and outlook on life. She will be dearly missed.

Condolence From: Carolyn Burns
Condolence: To the family of Alice - Alice was one of the first people I met when I moved to Shelby in 1980 to teach. She was my landlord for two years, but became a friend for almost all of my 26 years. She attended many of my school music programs because she had many grandchildren! She was so much a part of the community and will be missed by many. My sympathies to all.

Condolence From: Arleen Parker Shrader
Condolence: I didn't personally know Mrs. Flesch but remember her in working hard in the Shelby grocery stores, always with that smile on her face. She did a great job of raising her grandkids. The two that I knew (Arby and Jeanne) were very well liked by everyone. She was a strong lady who left those she touched with a strong sense of how to live life.
