Condolence: 'SAM the MAN' you will always be to me! I met Sam in the very early 80's with Jerry Goldman and Adam Walton and we used to hang out with Susan McCoy and others at La Cocina. Wow, to think both Sam and Jerry have passed away in the same summer! I can hear their laugh all the way from Heaven!

Condolence: I first met Sam back in, I think, the late 70s. He would occasionally come for dinner at the Arya Restaurant where I was a Wine Steward. He always had a pretty lady in tow. For a long time I would see him around & at many of the parties I would be deejaying at & we would always chat a bit.
I knew several months ago that he was living at Heritage Park & always meant to stop in & visit. I regret not having done so.

Condolence: Good bye Sam, my good friend.....You had a good long run in life and many fun and happy events in Aspen. I'll catch up with you one day on the "other side" and we'll jump on our ponies and go for another ride. See you then.

Condolence: I have had the pleasure of knowing Sam since 2002. What a character!! He lived life to the fullest, to say the least. I have missed seeing his smiling face at the Aspen Country Inn for the past several months and I know he missed being there. I am fortunate to have met him and have him in my life even though it was a relatively short period of time. Rest well, Sam, until we meet again! Cindy
