Opal Lillie  Williams (Marthiljohni)
Opal was born in Telfner, Texas to Nick and Lillie (Branch) Marthiljohni. She was the third of 10 children. Opal is survived by brother; Wally (Willa Mae) and two sisters; Margie and Trois.
Opal and Woodrow were married on June 08, 1938 in Edna, Texas, at Opals family home and were married over 57 years. They spent most of their married life in McAllen, living at Paradise Park, square dancing and enjoying all the park had to offer.
They were members of Calvary Baptist Church for over 40 years.
Opal and Woodie were blessed with two adopted children; Glenda (Greg) and Terry. There are four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Opal was a hair dresser and ended her career working at Colonial Manor Nursing Home. She was also a hospital volunteer for over 20 years before moving to her daughters in Colorado. A memorial service will be held Saturday, April 26, 2014 at the Ganado First Baptist in Ganado, Texas at 11:00 with Brother B.J. Hall officiating
